From Service to Support: Sarge's Journey to Veteran Advocacy

"Sarge" is a U.S. Army veteran, veteran's spouse, and mother of a veteran. With over a decade of military service, including a 15-month deployment during Operation Joint Endeavor, and a master's degree in criminal justice, Sarge brings a unique 360-degree perspective to the veteran experience.

After navigating her own 23-year journey through the VA claims process, Sarge recognized a critical gap: veterans were struggling to access benefits they had already earned through their service. But the real breakthrough came when she faced a moral conflict that changed everything.

The Epiphany:

How do you charge veterans for benefits they've already paid for with their service, sacrifice, and time away from family? The answer hit like lightning - you don't. You create a system where veterans support veterans, where success creates more success, and where the community sustains itself.
